Biotechnology

Translation of biotechnology materials can be divided into two categories, those intended for patients and others intended for medical staff. For patients the goal is to make sure that they are clear and easily understood by patients while still contain complex medical terminology. Translating for doctors and other clinical and medical professionals is somewhat simpler, but still presents the challenge of identifying the established terminology that is actually used by those professionals in each country. With biotechnology constantly evolving and often no established terms existing for a new procedure or a new drug, a great responsibility is placed on translators to produce a dependable rendering of these product in the target language..
